How to start loosing weight? 

A friend recently inspired me to write a post about how to start loosing weight and how to make healthier choices. I know it can be very hard at the beginning and not knowing what to do can get very frustrating. SO, I made a list of things you can start doing and get closer to a healthier YOU!

  1. Ask yourself, “Why do I want to loose weight”? & meditate on that every day.
  2. Set a real goal for yourself.
  3. Take baby steps. Don’t try to change your lifestyle in a day, remember it always takes time.
  4. You can try and make an inspirational board.
  5. Take a walk after a meal.
  6. Make a meal plan.
  7. Don’t look at the scale.
  8. Get moving at least for 10 minutes.
  9. ALWAYS eat breakfast.
  10. Stop eating junk food/greasy foods.
  11. Eat a lot of blueberries.
  12. Drink lemon water in the morning.
  13. Drink water before going to sleep.
  14. Eat fiber and protein in the morning.
  15. Build muscle. Muscle burns fat faster.
  16. Don’t eat after dinner.
  17. Eat a lot of veggies.
  18. Don’t skip meals.
  19. Try to eliminate stress.
  20. Start cooking at home.
  21. Try to only drink water. Juices and sodas have unnecessary calories. Save the calories for your food.
  22. Eat more spicy foods, they make your metabolism faster.
  24. Stop eating when you are full.
  25. Change all whites to brown. Instead of white rice, pasta, white bread. Get whole wheat pasta, brown rice, whole wheat bread.. and so on.
  26. Don’t eat anything deep fried.
  27. Eat quinoa.
  28. Try to eat things that the earth makes. Veggies, grains, & so on.
